Sakubo, Sexuality, and (Gender) IdentityMan, you know, I say 'Sakubo' up there, but it's going to be 90% Saku, I'll say that up front, because a lot of stuff registers to her that doesn't register to Bo, hands down ( Read more... )

HEH. Um.

1) She doesn't want to be combined with Bo, so if Bo had his own body and she had her own, she'd jump at that. They both want to live as normal siblings -- she expresses at one point that probably the biggest grief in her life is that when he's sad, she can't even pat his head, she can only whisper silently to him. (The desire to be physically separate people as well as mentally is actually something very common among people with D.I.D, from what I've been able to determine). For her, recombining with Bo just means they'll both live half lives and have to negotiate time without robbing from the other, which isn't something either wants to do. She'd run it past Bo first, of course, but. Yeah. (Of course as their player I'd veto it, but that's not in the running here >D)

2) Hell no. Bo's existence is more important to her than her own. She wants to protect him, and I think she really dislikes the fact that any time she takes for herself takes away from him. If they had to be separate (ie, couldn't check in mentally that they're both still there) with the separate bodies AND one vanished, she jsut wouldn't do it, because, well. She was born to protect Bo. Even if she really wants her own body and self to identify with, she would never do it at the cost of Bo's self and body.
