Hello, citizens of the City! Did you sleep well? I had a very nice dream yesterday. What was it about? That I cannot say to you. However, I am feeling quite refreshed! I hope yesterday was nice for you as it was for me.
Onto business. I have decided to offer piano lessons during the week.
Here are some answers to questions you may be having.
What is your qualification?
I play piano about 11 years. I am young, but in my world I succeed 4 years as recording star and worldwide performer. My focus is jazz, but I am comfortable in classical as well.
What will lessons involve?
This is entirely up to you and what you desire focusing on. For any interested, I will give one free lesson to determine if we are good fit and what our focus is. I am flexible - I will take beginners as well as those who need to polish or just wish to learn jazz or something. Keeping in mind technical skills and techniques - they are different. Learning to get in right head place, learning to read a music sheet - they are different. You must be open to my way of teaching, and respect me. For these lessons I am your teacher, not your friend.
Also keep in mind that piano is philosophy too. If I see you act in way unbecoming of a student of mine, I will comment.
How long is a lesson, and how much will they cost?
Lessons will be 30 minutes long, once weekly. They will cost 1 Green up front. If you are a child with no guardian able to pay, we can discuss a more affordable arrangement.
When are lessons?
I will begin taking up 3 students each day of the week at a time decided by us. I am unavailable on weekends. Here is my schedule so far:
Monday:
Slot 1 - Miss Vivio, 12PM
Slot 2 - (free)
Slot 3 - (free)
Tuesday:
Slot 1 - Mr. Clow, 2PM
Slot 2 - (free)
Slot 3 - (free)
Wednesday:
Slot 1 - Miss Stephanie, 2PM
Slot 2 - (free)
Slot 3 - (free)
Thursday:
Slot 1 - (free)
Slot 2 - (free)
Slot 3 - (free)
Friday:
Slot 1 - Mr. Artemis, 12PM
Slot 2 - Miss Adachi, 1PM
Slot 3 - (free)
Since you are paying up front, there is no worry if you must skip a session due to curses. I will try my very best to remember I am teaching piano even if I am cursed.
Where will lessons be held?
Apartment 20-21 Building 1, in the piano room. This is not my apartment but my neighbor Mr. Edgeworth's, nor is my piano. So it is important we treat this space to practice with very much respect, or I will no longer teach.
What if I'm no good?
Nonsense. You may not be piano prodigy or genius, but anyone can become good in practicing. Playing with your heart and dedication is important as your skill sets. If you go in with the mindset of "I am going to do this!" then you will, with hard work.
Let me know if you have an interest!
[ooc: Machi apparently had a good time being a harem boy for yesterday's curse day. Those who might've seen him around on a leash with Sultan Kitaki are free to comment. X3
So far as the piano lessons go, since it will be fairly boring and technical to play out, I'm thinking we don't need to RP it. Rather, if you're interested, they can discuss what sort of things Machi would focus on in a lesson, and assume improvement over time. Despite his sweet appearance, Machi is a very strict and serious teacher. Very old-school. In his canon, he's consider a piano genius, but he hasn't necessarily got the best social skills.
Any questions, feel free to ask!]
