I wonder why anyone would think that I would seduce anyone. Despite the rumors, I did not seduce Yuki Sohma. If anything, he seduced me. I know a lot of the girls would call me a liar for that. How could ‘Prince Yuki Sohma’ seduce a little, boring girl like me. I wouldn’t have believed it either if I didn’t know better.
‘Prince Yuki Sohma’ may be princely to everyone at school but there are a few of us who knows the truth. He isn’t some otherworldly prince; he is just another scared boy trying to be nice. I can see the sadness in his eyes every time someone calls him ‘Prince Yuki’. All those girls see is his mask.
I often wondered what he thought of me. Yuki seemed to have a special relationship to Tohru Honda. A relationship that I could never touch. Even now, that sacred bond between them is as strong as ever. I was envious of it. It made me feel useless. That was before he approached me in the student council room. All he said was “Meet me by the school gate.”
Such simple words yet it drew me in. That was the beginning of many other meetings between us. I wonder if I’m reading too much into these meetings. All I know is that I’ve been seduced into being in love with him.
