[Fic - the GazettE] Drabble for word #147
Drabble written for the prompt word #147 from 15_minute_fic. Word is under cut in case anyone wants to try it first.
Pairing: Reita/Ruki
Word #147: Headache

There was no greater headache than listening to Ruki talk about clothes.
At least that's what Reita believed.
The bassist had been sitting in the studio for an hour already, his original intention being to perfect his technique for the upcoming tour. But what had happened instead? Ruki had pranced in ten minutes into his practice session, claiming to have forgotten his sunglasses before launching into some god-awful, lengthy rehash of what his most recent clothing purchases had been. For the last. Three. Weeks.
Reita rubbed his temples in a vain effort to disperse the throbbing in his brain. Why did Ruki even think he cared in the first place? Did he have "Uruha" stamped on his forehead today or something? He sighed loudly and exaggeratedly, hoping that the other man would take his not-so-subtle hint to shut up. It proved to be an empty hope.
He just kept talking. On and on. Never stopping. He elaborated on why this pair of pants didn't look right with that style of shirt, or why those shoes would only work with these sunglasses. In other words, complete gibberish.
Ruki's mouth moved a mile a minute, and Reita's eyes couldn't help but watch them in fascination. The plush pinkness that ever so often pouted at him, or stretched into a wide smile, or parted in mirthful laughter. So many expressions, each one the same and yet so very different.
Before his brain could kick into gear and register just what the heck his body was about to do, Reita leaned in and captured those pink lips in a soft kiss. And suddenly there was silence.
"Ruki," Reita whispered softly, their lips still barely touching. "You talk way too much."

I think it's pretty interesting, and good practice. :3
