WIL--Short Weekend

-Being sick still sucks, but...

-I love my faire family! (A special thanks to Patrick H who drove me home!) You never realize just how much people care until you're sick and get forced to sit out...by the entire cast!

-There is no arguing with Baba Ravena

-Making it out to court dance and geting asked by little girls why I wasn't at Extravaganza made my day.

-Getting told that I'm doing a good job with my character is also very nice, since I never feel like I'm doing enough and spending a day in the keep doesn't help...

-George over at Friends of Faire (we all know and love him) is a Godsend.

-When you start telling a story to one person, by the end of it you have at least seven other people hanging on your every word.

-Talking in dialect is increasingly harder as your voice drops

-When I was told the gypsies become super close, they weren't kidding. You have all really, truly become my other family at faire. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me! [love and hugs]

-Sitting out most of the dances during Court Dance is kinda sad, but a)watching patrons smile as they learn and/or dance dances they just learned and b) dancing with "Lady Catherine" on the sidelines more than makes up for it. Heck, watching Court Dance in itself has merits...^_^

-Having to get help hauling your stuff kind of bites, but it's still really nice to know that the faire men are always there to help when needed.

For those concerned, my major crisis was averted, but I might be moving to Cali for the summer. Yeah. So Jeff needs the comp, and I'm wrapping this up.
