Opposite Day!
It's Wednesday already? I'm not sure if I should be surprised that it came so fast or wonder why it took so long to arrive.
You know those really good days where you're on a high from kicking so much ass at work you get fuzzy delusion of grandeur feelings?
Today was not that day.
In fact, after getting maybe four hours of sleep (for the life of me I couldn't shut off last night) I came in to find out a coworker had called off, and promptly became bogged down by the everyday workload to the point a break wasn't taken until the very end of my shift. What can I do? It is flu season after all. (I'm still refusing to get either a H1N1 or regular season vaccination) I had promised myself yesterday that since today was going to be so nice -- over 70º nice -- I'd go out and wash my car. So I did. By hand. Though, running barefoot in shorts (one last time) was a nice change of pace after three weeks of cruddy weather and rain. Stubborn me won't take a nap due to it's getting so late...not enough time in the day for those sorts of things anyway.
