World Cup Soccer
Well, it looks like Trinidad & Tobago held Sweden to a 0-0 tie. Apparently that's a big upset since Trinidad and Tobago is ranked something like 47th in the world and Sweden is ranked somewhere around 16th. I managed to catch the last minute of the game, but it looks like one of the Swedes got booted out of the game. Looks like SOMEONE wasn't playing nice.
And it looks like England beat Paraguay 1-0. I didn't get up in time for this game so I didn't see any of it. But according to yahoo, they played well. They didn't give Paraguay a chance at the goal.
Then from last night, Germany beat up Costa Rica and Ecuador beat Poland. From one of the guys at work, that really wasn't a surprise, a South American team beating Poland. But then I kind of got the impression that my grandmother could beat Poland. What my friend says is that Poland tends to be really unlucky, but who knows.
Argentena plays in about 45 minutes against Cote d'Ivire. Since I'm rooting for Brasil here, hopefully the underdogs will show up the Argentines.
Well I'm going to go grab some grub so I can watch the game later.
