Argh!

Don't get me wrong, I really like my new apartment. Great amount of space, my own washer/dryer, and an easy distance from center city. But there's something new that I didn't know about when we first moved in that's started to manifest itself now that the weather's getting nicer. Bikers. On ATV''s. Riding around and around the block. Really loudly. OMG, I hate them so much. That and the apartment seems to heat up pretty quickly so we have to leave all the windows open so all the noise from outside comes in very easily. I just want to punch them really hard in the face. What is wrong with them? What's so entertaining about riding around the same blocks over and over again. Ugh.

On a brighter note, Kevin and I went to the Walnut Street Theater on Wednesday night and saw the opening night's performance of Carosel thanks to a friend of ours that works there and gave us free tickets. The show was pretty good though I don't really agree with all the messages (i.e.- stand by your man no matter what and if you really love someone their slaps will feel like kisses). I don't get to see live theater very often so it was a refreshing change of pace. Plus we got free food and booze. Yay!

I worked the first of three days that I'm going to be working at a convention. It's long hours, little pay and very boring but it's better than sitting at home doing nothing. Oh, wait, no it's not. But it's good to show the unemployment office that I'm at least trying to get work. I have to be there tomorrow at 6:30. Oy.

My birthday's next Wednesday. I never did get plans together for it. Why do I suck so much at planning stuff? :(

I can't believe I'm going to be 29. I don't feel that old. More like 19 or something. How old do you feel? How does it compare to your real age? I think most people's mental age is lower than their real age.
