Short work week
Short week? Is this kin to the short bus?
This will be a two day workweek for me. Rod has knee surgery on Thursday and I have to be home to keep him tied down. He's determined to be all John Wayne about this and jump off the operating table and join the cattle drive without missing a beat. I'm threating to drug him to keep him still for a few days, and barring that, drugging me.
I had my second ever acupuncture treatment today. Doing this mostly for stress reduction as my job is driving me nuts. I don't know if the resulting calm is from the actual treatment or lying still for 45 minutes in a dark cool room listening to new age calming music. Surprisingly, I don't feel the needles much at all but the one she inserted between my eyes caught my attention. Didn't hurt, it was just odd for a moment. Anyway, I will keep up with the treatments for a bit to see if I can get the calm to stick around longer than a day or so.
