Nemacolin - Part III

Jul 01, 2008 10:25

Since I'm smart enough to know that no one really cares about the narrative recap (and I'm lazy)...

Well, mostly pictures.

On Sunday morning, we had some time to kill so we took Jake over to the zoo area of the resort. I took all of these pictures with my DSLR and I was so impressed by the quality and how easy it was to take these pictures. Using my zoom lense I captured all of the animals through a chain-link fence--somehow, the zoom feature made the fence disappear!

I'm particularly please with these of the lion:

We were pretty much right next to the double fence, which is why you seea "blurry" fence and a "sharp" fence. The bears were smooching.

Looking angry, but really just on a mission to lose mom and dad and show some independence.

Dad's hot on the trail

And, he's been scooped up. And no, they were not matching on purpose :-)

I was having a bad bangs day...and Jake just flat out refuses to smile for pictures. UGH!

A decent family shot--again, bad bangs (damn cowlick!!!) and smile-less child. But Kevin looks good.

The End!

As a thank you to ILs for a great weekend, I threw together a photo book on Shutterfly using the pictures from the weekend and ordered it for them. (And of course, even though I did all of the work, I'll be signing SIL and BIL's name too). I mostly used pictures of Jake and Ethan (nephew) because (a) they were in most of the pictures and (b) that's really all ILs care about anyway! I think they will love it.
