ewan returns to reality

Several things to write here.
1.) Sorry about the last post. I was getting slightly stressed about everyone coming up, and as most of you know I occasionally stray from the purely rational. Many thanks to Vasovagalvegan, and Eliot for reminding me about reality! (and Eliot you are quite correct about the Chancellor, I apologise, actually I think thats at least two pints I owe you now after my mental block about white tie!)
2.) Related to the last point, I actually did enjoy graduating. It was great to see a lot of my friends pass out. I was also one of the first people to be hooded, so I had time to reflect on it. I have been so busy with starting work that I haven't had time to reflect on what I have acheived. I was very lucky to even get to St Andrews, I bet no one else in the Debating Society got an A and two D's at A level (I did History, Chemistry and Biology, a slight error). In that respect the University placed a measure of trust in me, and while I was not able to get a first, my 16+ average ia, I hope, a fair response to the trust they had.
3.) It was lovely to pass out in front of my family, they have all been there for me when I have been at my lowest, and to make them proud was wonderful. Of course the fact that Dad has sent a picture to the John O'Groat journal in Wick is quite sad, but I am so glad they are happy.
4.) Again related, I had a great time with them from Thursday to Sunday, when we all went to Loretto to see Doug, and for me to get really drunk and then to get the train home.
5.) Work is good, I passed the company driving test today, and have to go and interview a woman in Arbroath tomorrow, so I will get another byline on Friday, woot.
6.) If you are still reading this then you will be glad to know I will stop rambling, next update will contain the Ewan Awards to all of his wonderful friends (I have been working on a Newspaper for too long!)
