Pi-li-pi-nas. Pilipinas. Pi-li-pi-nas. Pilipinas.
Pinoy, panalo ka! Pinoy, panalo ka!

//Ang awit ng kabataan. Ang awit ng panahon. Hanggang sa kinabukasan. Awitin natin ngayon.

Stanca morta. This day was definitely tiring because of all the leg muscles I used. I kept walking and standing all throughout the day that I can almost count the minutes that I was merely sitting on the ground. I even felt dizzy and suffocated because of the crowd. I even let myself have that facepaint. I rarely put something on my face be it powder or make up or anything because it easily gets irritated but then certain sacrfices have to be made... But nevertheless, the experience was worth it. I even missed my brother's dinner because of this. But then, such experience - cheering for the country, cheering for the other South East Asian nations, cheering for the youth who is the future of this nation - brought an unexpected joy and sense of pride that I would forever cherish... It's amazing how despite the lack of funds of our country, we still managed to put up an incredible show to make our neighboring countries feel comfortable and welcome. I was really proud of the colorful presentations, wonderful singing voices, graceful movements, and of course our champion athletes. Saludo ako sa inyo! The feeling is just overwhelming that I can't even think logically here. Hehehe... TBC.
