someone finally realized that I was onstage
without bureaucratic permission
i.e. uninsured
and put a quick stop to that
so I will not be appearing on the stage of
the Teatro Comunale di Bologna
the 10th, 12th, and 14th of August.
I'll help out on lighting maybe in the meantime.
I will, however, be appearing at a film screening of
My Architect about the renowned Louis Kahn
who I previously knew nothing about
but am now firmly convinced that is the basis
at least in part
for Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead.
I will be appearing as a "director" with "critical commentary"
on August 11th.
I will also be appearing this weekend
at the synagogue of Torino for shabbes
(and hopefully a research interview)
and in some random little town between there and Genova
for a folk dance fest-party-10th-anniversary
accompanied by my wonderful travel-companions from this summer's folkdancecamp
seen here on Ernesto's lovely photo page!
