New Year, New Me
New Year’s Resolutions, 2011. Detailed.

Lose AT LEAST 100 pounds by 2012. During the last week of every month, will write up plan for the next month’s weight loss progression. Must lose at least 8 pounds a month to achieve 2011’s goal of losing at least 100 pounds.

ONLY take an hour's break at work. No more, no less. Two fifteen minute breaks on the clock and one half hour break off the clock. Need to stop wasting time at work and make sure everything that needs to get done is getting done and doing a little extra as well, such as i-DOT classes and any extra jobs that don’t have to be put off.

Spend at least half an hour a day on a hand-written journal. Try to write a page or two a day of hand-written inner dialogue. This will help to stay organized, keep up with New Year’s Resolutions, and free up space in the mind for being positive and less stressed. Will also serve as a great thing to look back on and watch myself growing and learning and changing into a more whole and better me.

Spend more time with family and friends. Be more available to them. Try to call more people on the phone just to talk and not just when I need things. Also make more plans on weekends to spend time with people I don’t get to see often and who I miss talking to and being around. Go for walks, go window shopping at the mall, go see movies, have tea parties, make lunch or dinner or breakfast, go get manicures/pedicures/haircuts, go for long drives, workout, have some drinks, just talk, do reading club type activities, make crafts, do chores, go bowling or skating, etc. These are just a handful of ideas for things to do with family and friends.

Get back in school. Fill out FAFSA January 1st, 2011 for the Fall 2011/Spring 2012 semesters at IUS. Talk to a counselor about changing majors from English Education to Communication. Take one or two classes in Summer 2011, enroll in Fall 2011 semester.

If by August 2011 these resolutions are still being met, plan a trip to England in December 2011 as a reward. If all has gone well and goals are met, take the trip in December 2011.
