Life in general
Life in general is going ok.
I enjoy my new job. It's a LOT less stressful than the old one, pays better, and has a hell of a lot less work hours.
Personal life.....it had it's major ups and downs early in the year, but I cut loose all of the things that were doing nothing but draining my energy and not giving me any back in return.
Daina went in for her final post-surgery visit today and the vet said she is doing amazingly well for a dog her age (13 years old) and for a dog that just had major surgery a couple months ago. 2 more weeks and she's officially allowed to go back to full activity. *laughs* unofficially she's been doing that for the last month anyways. You try to stop a 70+ pound dog from doing what she wants in a house with 3 other dogs.
All and all things are going much better now than they were earlier in the year.
Funny thing was I was driving to work today, my ipod hooked up to my car stereo and on shuffle and it hit an REO Speedwagon song. Part of the chorus fit with the way I had been feeling about some of my personal life and my job earlier this year.
I make you laugh

I believe its time for me to fly
The funny part is....it was right. It was time for me to fly and now that I have...things are a little better. I still miss certain things, but that's just something to work through. I just have to remind myself that it wasn't a two way street.
