yes, you can rub your eyes if you want. its a VA sighting. through the day!!! I've slipped through the firewall somehow. hopefully it isn't temporary.
I haven't written in forever. I haven't been up to it. the last few weeks have been up and down for me. Winter is never a good time of year for me and the counselor (and a really good friend) told me I need more sunlight. I was told to check out grow lights if need be. So, I have an assignment to do that. and i plan on ousting my butt off the comp more at lunchtime and getting away from my desk. I've been too hung up on staying and playing games. Which I'm discovering i'm getting bored with.
I have my sewing to do and i know that I enjoy it. I need to do things that are meaningful to me and not do them just because. I've made some friends through the games that I will continue to talk to and all, but how much playing time I'll do-hard to say. too much time has been wasted on the comp the last few months.
So we've done a lot of birthdays this month as well. My goddaughter turned 5, my sister in law turned 17 and now my cousin's wife is turning 30. So its been busy and hectic throughout the month, trying to get caugt up from the holidays and being on the go more than normal. one week I think we had something every single day. so life hasn't slowed down surprisingly.
i have lots of stories to tell about pete and i eating out though. When we go out to eat we usually play cards. Which keeps us busy and not worrying about when our food comes. So last week we went out to Robinson and did some shopping. I bought some clothes and talked myself out of buying clearance candles, but I didn't succceed in talking myself out of on sale Bath and Body Works lotions or on the used Christina Aguiliara "Back to the Basics" CD. but that's okay. Anyways-so we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. We had to wait for a table-but that was no biggie. the girl got us seated and pete grabbed the things to play trivia. well, he started playing poker and i tried trivia, but i was no good,, so i switched to poker and played too. meanwhile we waited for the food to come. the waitress comes over and says something about how the kitchen is backed up. Okay-we were out on a date and spending time together, no biggie. A little bit later she comes over, apologizes again and said she was going to see what she could do for us. She brought back the bill and showed it to us. They had taken both of our meals off. I was so shocked. Shortly thereafter the food came. then the other night we went to friday's and i felt so bad cuz we didn't eat a whole lot and i think that threw our waitress off. we were supposed to get dessert with our meals and she forgot to bring it to us. So we asked if we could get it to go. She looked at the receipt and said sure after apologizing. she brought one of the two desserts. I felt sooo bad asking for the other one. she apologized. we think us playing cards throws the servers off.
Okay-I'm hitting thinking issues so I'd better get back to work.
