It's been more than a week since I've written. I was going to watch Survivor tonite, but just not feeling it right now. It's hit or miss now that they're into they're umpteenth millionth season. The people get more stupid every time. I do plan on watching CSI though. Although I'm still ticked that Grey's Anatomy is up against it. *sigh*
Past week-haven't done a whole lot exciting. Spent a lot of time on the comp, but have been trying to watch some of the fall season like I've said before. I watched Bones again last night. Wasn't too bad. Just wish I could have seen the first season, it would probably make more sense.
I finished book 2 and started book 3 of the Wheel of Time series. I am now on the hunt for book 4 without having to pay full price. I found book 5 at the used book store-but she currently has it listed on e-bay, so I'm holding out ;)
I've done some cross-stitch-I know, I still owe pics.
We're going to a concert by the Saw Doctors tomorrow. I know one song that's been played on Yahoo Music.
http://www.sawdoctors.com/ So it should be interesting. I'm finding my music tastes are changing somewhat. I'm not crazy about hip hop still. But there are a lot of good new bands out there. I think I like Hinder (although I still don't like the lyrics to their current song ;), Snow Patrol seems okay. The Fray seems pretty cool and I think I like a little bit by the All American Rejects-although I don't think I've heard a whole album by them yet. I wasn't crazy about the Killers new album. The Guerillaz (sp?) wasn't too bad. I'm finding my tastes drifting towards more alternative type stuff. I like some Linkin Park, I like Nickelback and I heard a band in the music store that I checked out that seemed okay-Crossfade.
Of Course-I just bought the new Evanesence CD. "The Open Door" I love their music, even if its dark. Their new release "Call Me When You're Sober" is cool.
http://www.evanescence.com/index.asp Odd-I would have never seen myself listening to dark rock music :)
Other than that-life here is pretty boring. We may go to the Apple Festival in Hickory this weekend. We'll see what the weather is like and everything :)
Well, CSI comes on shortly, so I am going to end this here.
As always-have a good night.
