I've noticed, that the further ahead we get with technology-the less user friendly it becomes.

Our new phones came yesterday (Happy Dance!) and we can't use them (frowny face).

There were no directions in the box on how to activate the phone, the new SIM cards or anything. So I got into an argument with my dad about how I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO go to the store to activate these phones-otherwise why mail them to ME? Why not ship them to the store and pick them up there (and what if you don't have a handy dandy store nearby)? So I called the "customer care" line and I was on hold for almost 45 minutes last night-got a person and got hung up on just as we were getting somewhere. I called back- "We're experiencing larger than normal call volume-your estimated wait time is greater than 20 minutes" I put Pete on the phone-he got hung up on before we ever reached a person. (and this was a PHONE company as Pete pointed out!)

I give up-we're gonna stop at the Cingular store on our way to TRU tonite to get them activated.

I love technology-really I do......
