Quilty Stuff-Updated UFO List

Jun 17, 2008 08:33

I need to update my UFO list. This is the only way I can keep track of what I'm doing it seems like right now:

1) My Autumn braid 2007 retreat quilt - needs sandwiched and quilted

2) my 2006-2007 birthday_blocks quilt

3) an old sampler quilt I started (which is going to cross with the calicocats block of the month, hopefully)

4) a quilt that was started by my stepmother-in-law that I would like to finish for her.

5) Joann's 2001 Block of the Month Christmas Quilt (needs finished being put together)

6) a heart quilt (needs sandwiched and quilted)

7) $10 quilt top that needs quilted. (this is actually a WIP-I'm currently handquilting it here and there)

8) Fairy quilt from this year's retreat (needs quilted)

9) my cross - stitch dragons quilt (I forget who I need to give credit to for this quilt idea... )

10) Daintress's fairy quilt (needs quilted)

11) Shauna's T-shirt quilt (I have the T-shirts-now need to work on putting it together)

12) Cat Panel (just working on handquilting in the car)

Okay. So I knocked three items off of the list.

1) This year's mystery quilt from retreat:

2) My Nature's Studio Quilt (from The Bee)

and here's the back

and last but by no means least,

3) My Challenge Quilt:

(If you look close, you can see the clock)

And here's the back:

So that's where I'm at.  This is going to be a year of finishes somehow.

So then, the challenge quilt was due last night.  The guild voted on them.  Here was some of my competition:

And.  Here were the five winners:

(1st and 2nd place)

(3rd place)

(judge's choice)

So looking at the winners?  I was way off base.  I guess my guild loves the applique.  But that's okay.  It was my first challenge, I had hoped to win something, but I didn't expect to.

So, now to look forward to the show.  My show quilts are basically done.  i just have to put a hanging sleeve on one. And that's all she wrote.

Now to work on Shauna's quilt and Daintress's quilt.
