CANIMUN
Two updates in one day! Have I gone crazy? Perhaps...
Just got an e-mail informing me that I have been accepted as a delegate for McMaster at the Canadian Internation Model United Nations (CANIMUN). The conference will take place in Ottawa early in March. There will be 12 of us going from McMaster. It's apparently mostly subsidized by the Political Science department, so my expenses should not be much. Haven't been to Ottawa since Grade 9. Should be fun, and a good experience to boot. We don't know which country we will be representing yet, but apparently we will tour their embassy, and possibly meet a high-level diplomat of some kind. Then there are hours and hours of committee meetings and whatnot, and various assemblies, dinners, social events, and so forth.
Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but Im looking forward to it already.
