Regarding Robotech: Live Action Movie
So I'm excited about this. Cautiously, as I've mentioned in the past, since it IS Hollywood doing this and they have this amazing ability to royally fuck things up.
This item popped up in the news today:
Lawrence Kasdan is going to write the script(s). This makes me happy to no end. Why? I'll let the article explain:
"Kasdan wrote the screenplays for "The Empire Strikes Back," "Return of the Jedi" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark" before penning more intimate ensemble dramas such as "The Big Chill" and "Grand Canyon," which he also directed."
They have an awesome fucking writer on board, so hopefully they do some justice to the series. :)
