You know, that the gunman was probably a gamer?
Yeah, so CNN has a copy of the executed search warrant, which included a list of everything confiscated from the gunman's dorm room:
• Chain from top left closet shelf
• Folding knife & combination padlock
• Compaq computer from desktop
• Assorted documents, notepads, writings from desktop
• Combination lock
• Dremel tool and case
• Nine books, two notebooks, envelopes, from top shelf
• Assorted books & pads from lower shelf
• Compact discs from desktops
• Items from desktop & drawers: winchester multi tool, 3 notebooks, mail, checks, credit card
• Items from 2nd door: Kodak digital camera, Citibank statement
• Two cases of compact discs from dresser top
• Drive: Seagate: 80 Gb
• Six sheets of green computer paper
• Mirror with blue plastic housing
• Dremel tool box with receipt
• Dell Latitude service tag
Note the complete lack of ANY sort of video game paraphernalia.
So, barring them finding his laptop and discovering a plethora of violent video games installed on it or his Compaq computer (along with Rock and Roll music, Dungeons & Dragons AND porn... because all of those things are always on the verge of utterly destroying society and turning us into raving, murderous sociopaths), one could reasonably conclude that video games probably had very little to do with his meltdown, and he was more likely just a fucked up timebomb that finally went off.
Oh, and a cockpunches to Jack Thompson and Dr. Phil... you disgusting, parasitic attention whores.
And speaking of disgusting... guess who got caught using the tragedy as a recruiting drive?
