One big weekend
Damn, has this weekend been crazy!
I've played 5 shows in 4 days, my blisters became calluses (or would it be "calli"?) and I can't feel anything in my fingers, I've been named Ms. Turnstiles for December, went to an awesome cast party, slept for the first time since Tuesday (for only 1.5 hours), played some funky jazz, and there's only 1 week of school left until Winter break (paintball on Saturday)!
Aaaaaahhhg! I love being a musicain.
Cast party was a new experience that I hope to do again next semester. There was food, free-stylin', pool, and some deep thoughts under the stars. Otto, Charles, and Johnathan free-styled to the funky beats of Jake (see below for more info). Amazing.
Oh ya, and some crazy stuff happened when all were peacefully sleeping. Jake (the sax guy), on of the actresses (sorry I forgot the name), and I went on an quest bestowed upon us by the great Max (the other sax guy) to find...*duhn-duhn duuuhn*...polka-dotted socks! Nobody had them, so we decided to steal people's shoes.
Jake sneakily untied JJ's shoe (much suspense with that one folks. I aint kidding) and smoothly took Taylor's as well. Damn that was fun.
People seemed really pissed that we were still awake, so we tried to sleep. Then, it was suddenly 1 hour later! Whoa!
And now it's time to get back to work.
