(no subject)
Jess S. and I just went for ice cream... we chatted.. mainly about work cuz thats how we know eachother.
I don't like my working there this summer. I loved it last summer, but like.. there are only 3 other floor staff that were there last summer who are there this summer.
The managers and different. I like the ones we have now a lot, but I don't know. My GM is pretty chill. Another one seems to not be as enthused with the job like she used to be. Another other one seems lonely because, for the most part, all of her peers are floorstaff, but she can't chill with them cuz "that's bad". I understand why they dont condone the whole.. mingling of authority levels, because regal is so perfect. Also, the last manager (one of my favs) has just come back from being on vaca. for what seems like forever, and shes always a pleasure, so hopefully things may get delovely there.
Anyhow there are like 5 new floor staffers (for the most part). I like them, but they are NOT like the ones in the past.. that is most likely a good thing but.. yeah. It just seems so.. dull there now. I understand its a job, its not like... a fun place, but when everyone is your age, its summer, and you work 5 days a week... it NEEDS to be fun.
I don't want to quit, but I want this tension and dreariness to GO AWAY, ever since the Jesses quit the party left the building.(which might be good for a corporation, but I miss it!)
