You are an encouragement. I've been a witness now for 18 years. Over the past 4 years, things have been rough to say the least. Between raising my daughter, dodging flying objects from the wife, not having any money, loosing my ID, getting ready for bankruptcy, my parents getting divorced, and barely being able to make the meetings, I'm surprised I'm not crazy yet. But your comments are 100% correct. There is nothing in the world for us. Sure you can find a form of happiness in the world, but deep down, you know you're not happy being in it. Talk about freaky stuff, last week, I sat down and forced myself to watch the movie Passion of the Christ. Obviously it had a few things that are not true in it, but the bottom line part of the movie is that Jesus died for us. I constantly compare my life with Jesus, and here recently with Job. Now the freaky part was, this past Sunday was the first meeting I have been able to make in about 3 months (work keeps me busy). Not only did the talk have to do with this system about to end, but the Watchtower spoke of what I just watched in the movie. Now that I look back, something like this has always happened to me. When I am away for long periods of time, the very next meeting seems to show the bigger picture. As for me, I will talk with anyone with a listening ear(I'm a Jones, that's all we do is talk), and there are many times people constantly tell me that being a JW is stupid and crazy. But all I have to do is spend just a few minutes of time with these people and know that their type of lifestyle is only going to be here for a short amount of time. And furthermore, you simply don't see the love for God in them. The hardest thing that hit me this past Sunday was when the speaker said that the signs of the end will be just like in Noah's day. Last I checked, that is today. Just look around. You don't have to be a bible thumper to see it. Everything Jesus said that will happen before the end of this system, uh, unless I'm missing something, it's here now. We cover the whole earth in the preaching work. All the signs that Jesus said would happen, have and are happening. And just like in Noah's day, we're living it.
So my personal message to you is this. You have made a very difficult choice. You have chosen the hardest religion there is. You have chosen to be mocked, put down, hated, screamed at, and made fun of. But you know what? SO WHAT! Each and every time someone (even your dad) gives you a hard time about being a witness of Jehovah, you bring glory to HIS name. Call me crazy, but I think I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Thank you so much!
And wow, everything you're having to go through must be really hard. And the meetings always have to do with something that you're dealing with for a reason.

Just food for thought.
