So like HAPPY NEW YEAR!! To bring in 2006 I went into Boston with Cheryl and Sean, and it was quite adorable with all the First Night activities going on. So we got off the train and began walking to Cheryl's apartment and we had been walking for a good 5 minutes when I noticed that both sides of the street were lined with a ton of people and as bright as I am thought "hmmm perhaps there is a parade of some sort!". So we paused for a moment, and sure enough it was about to start. There were like a bajillion police officers on GINORMOUS horses, they were just so gosh darn perty. We watched the parade for about 20-25 minutes then continued to her apartment. Let me tell you, Cheryl lives the high life, and I am very very jealous. Then we left and spent the rest of the night just walking around and looking at the ice sculptures and the bands playing and all that sort. And it was snowing which made it even moreeeee adorable there. And around 11:30 we proceded back to the apartment when Dave Flint and his crew arrived and spent the rest of the evening there.
