The trouble with love is...

Dec 28, 2006 23:09

So I realize I'm three years behind, but I hereby declare Love Actually as the best holiday movie ever.

-Favorite storyline goes to...Prime Minister and Natalie! At first I thought she was semi-annoying, but they're just so cute that adkjdf. That last scene with them kissing at the play, and then her leaping into him at the airport actually made me grin from ear to ear. And my crush on Hugh Grant, if not new, has completely reemmerged. God help me I love him.

-I love that all the storylines weren't perfect and all happy tra la la. Emma Thompson is an amazing actress, and I almost cried too when she was crying in her bedroom. I know this next statement is ridiculous because these characters are fictional but I hope they work it out, I don't want them to end their marriage because of that slut at his office.

-What happened with Laura Linney's character? Her story was definitely the saddest for me.

-I'm surprised, and a little disappointed, that we didn't see more of the Peter-Juliet-Mark triangle. I think the most famous scene of the movie, and rightfully so, was him holding up the cards telling her he loved her. I know that he kinda got closure with that after she kissed him, but I still would have liked to see more of them.

-The kid. was. so. cute.

-TIM from the UK Office! My crush on him has grown exponentially.

-I am Colin. God of Sex. HAHAHA. Although I sorta thought the America scenes were all going to be one big dream.

-Where the fuck is my fucking coat? I love it.

-WHY does Netflix list "Denise Richards" as the first star of this movie. Are you effing kidding me. I love America.
