UTOPIA - Audition for theatrical_muse

This one is a tough one. As far as I can tell perfection doesn't exist. That may sound cynical, but its not really. If perfection existed it would throw the balance of everything in and of itself off, never mind the things around it. No one would have any idea how to handle it, or what to do in its presence. That makes me glad its nothing more than a daydream. People strive for something better all the time anyway. If you were able to achieve perfection, do you think people would continue to try? For what? You have everything you’ve ever wanted. What’s the point? What kind of a world would that be? One where no one felt there was anything left in life to do. Not having a sense of purpose or achievement anymore, would bring depression and a loss of self.

Above all of that, what is perfection anyway? It's different for everyone isn't it? Not only that, but it is most likely something one person couldn't even figure out completely. It would be a constant struggle of indecision. Any type of Utopia couldn't exist with a thing such a indecisiveness, and therefore I'm willing to bet it never will. At least that’s something to be grateful for. Go figure.
