Well, the wait is finally over.  After a little over 6 months of hunting, withdrawing applications, interviews, happy days, sad days, and in-between days, I have been made an offer that meets all my criteria for a job I want.  The idea of having a job, in the field I want to be in, where travel is a given part of it, and I get to work with various

One went really well, I think. The other, I'm not sure about. I think it went well, but he was tough to read. The third was cancelled, and I have two more today.

Oof.

Proverbial fingers are crossed. I really want to do something new.

Alas, in keeping with my locavore eating habits I also managed to snag a job started by locals and headquartered here in the NW. :)
