So, it snowed today
wake up just to hear bells chime
all the children are chanting
"it's snowing outside"
the music is playing in my ears
of glittery times
and christmas-y years
little tikes are playing in the frost
throwing snowballs at each other
making sure not a moment is lost
holiday cheer came early this year
brought by white flakes
laughter is all i hear
sleigh bells ringing as i wake from my dream
just to look out my window
and see the white gleam
