so you know how i kept saying i was bored? and had nothing to do? ok welll i decided a job would be the best way to fill my time AND earn me some money. since we all know that mckenzie bein broke ain't a seldom thing. anywyays, i applied at like 5 milion places, thinking that nobody would hire me, seeing as i'd only be able to work a month (at most). well, as usual, i was wrong. so i had a bunch of interviews, but decided that only two jobs would really work out. so i had gotten both jobs... all i had to do was choose. how could i screw that up? oh, um... by taking them BOTH. haha i decided if one job is good, two must be great, so i decided that i'd just work two jobs and seriously be rid of that bored/free time. now under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be so bad. i'd work a few days at one, a few day at another, with very few overlapping days. BUT OH WAIT it's back to school time. meaning both stores want 19038r70934857 hours a week. including the "r". so the overlapping has actually been way less of a problem that one might think, but basically i work mornings at XXI (a branch of forever 21), and then evenings/nights at famous footwear. so i'll leave the house between 7 and 8, have a couple hours in between (maybe), and then get home from famous footwear some time between 10:30 and 11:30. needless to say, the days are long. luckily i really really like both jobs, although my entire paycheck will be spent at XXI. there's so much cute stuff there you don't even know. actually, the store just opened, and we had to unpack tons of stock. every time something came out of a box there'd be a chorus of "ooooh that's cute" from the girls in the store. even the managers. seriously. so needless to say, i've been pretty tired this week. but things should calm down after tax free weekend, so i figure it's worth it. sometimes life likes to hand me situations and laugh as i squirm. hmm.
aaaaaaaaaand i'm trying to work out my schedule with some houston kid's schedules so they can come up here, because it's highly unlikely that i'd be able to make it down there before school starts. i'm so hoping they can come, i've missed them more than i even realize right now. but i'm crossing my fingers that everything will come together.
