well, here we are...

mansfield. i'm still adjusting, but i guess it's ok. moving in was a pain, but most of the annoyances of living in a new house (i.e. not being able to find ANYTHING) have gone away, so things aren't so bad. the only thing now is that our computer hasn't been set up, and probably won't be for awile because there's no internet connection for it. which means i don't have any passwords basically, since i rely entirely on the computer to remember my passwords for me. well, not entirely. i mean, i remembered this one. but it's just easier when the comp does the work for you. slightly pathetic, i know. OH and it means that i have none of my music... which has been the hardest thing.

living here is different from houston in ways that i can't explain. but every now and then things happen that highlight the glaring differences between h-town and... m-field? anyways, last night dustin and i were up late watching tv (degrassi actually) since neither of us could fall asleep. somebody knocks at the door, and we both kind of freak out, because who knocks on the door at 2 in the morning? anyways, dustin gets up to answer the door, and it turns out that it's the police department. are we in trouble? no. they just stopped by to tell us that dustin had left the light in his car on. they didn't want the battery to run down. I AM SERIOUS. we had a good laugh about that.

i knew sitting around the house all day for another month and a half wouldn't do, so i've been looking for a job. had an interview at aeropostale today. i think it went pretty well, and i think my having to leave in the rather near future won't be a big problem since they hire seasonal workers anyways. but i guess i'll have to get the job before i worry about leaving it.

otherwise, things have been pretty uneventful. lydia's been trying to put on this whole "super mom" thing, i guess so she'll seem like a good parent. it gets annoying sometimes. like the other night she decides that we're gonna have some kind of schedule thing for cooking dinner. like... one person per night. ok lady, you've never made me cook in my entire life and now i'm supposed to make a meal for five people? hm. i think not. but we'll see how that goes. or, if it goes at all.

i got my AP scores right before i left houston. actually, the day of. and let's just say i RAPED THEM. in a good way, of course.

government - 4
macroeconomics - 5
calc AB - 5
stats - 5
english lit. - 5

i must say, statistics is by far the most surprising. seeing as i learned nothing and know nothing. but hey. i guess it happens.

i hope everyone in houston is doing well, i miss everybody there more than yall could ever know. it's hard being so... distant. but i love you all.
