Exeter City 0-1 Brazil

Never heard of Exeter City? If so U're probably in good company.

If U polled a random sample of earth's population, U'd probably find that most are clueless about the english nationwide conference (that's four divisions below the Premiership) side from southwest England.

And yet, Brazil's world cup winning team of 1994 just played a friendly match against Exeter!

As odd as it may sound today, back in 1914 Exeter City went by sea to Brazil and was Brazil's first "international" opposition (Brazil won 2-0).

Ninety years on, in Exeter's centenary season, Brazil returned the favour. The likes of Dunga and Careca drew a sell-out crowd of 8,000, ensuring that Exeter, which almost went bankrupt last year, have enough in its coffers to pay its bills.
