TACTICAL RANGER BEADS
Pace counting, or tally stepping as it is sometimes called, is an ancient technique. Legionnaires in the Roman Army used it on the battlefield just as today's elite warriors do. Ranger pacing beads were widely used in Vietnam and continue to be popular with Army Rangers, Army Special Forces units such as the Green Berets and Delta Force, Navy Seals, and the British Army's SAS (Special Air Service).

Instructions
I do not mean to insult any potential buyers however with several Ebayers selling these with nonsense instructions I thought I would write a brief set of instructions on how they are used.
Step 1
Walk a distance you know to be 100metres and count each time your right foot touches the floor.( I am 67 right foot paces for 100 metres)
Step 2
When out on Patrol or Walking attaché your Tactical Ranger Beads, and every time you count your individual number of paces slide one of your beads to the bottom (from the lower section with the larger number of beads. When there are no beads left to slide down from the lower group slide one bead from the top group and you have travelled 1 KM.
Step 3
Repeat the same process as step 2 only this time slide the beads from the lower group up and when you go to slide one up and there are none left slide one down from the top group and you have travelled 2KM. Carry on repeating this process until you have reached your destination.
The Contact Left Tactical Ranger Beads can also be used to count just about anything and have been used for instance to count Vehicles crossing a Bridge when in an OP, It has been used by Section Commanders counting the amount of Ammunition left after Section Attacks on training exercises. The list is endless.
The Beads are made from military standard materials and with the absence of any metals there is no chance of rust (these beads will never break or corrode)
The Beads are easily attached to PLCE webbing loops, Molle and every other webbing system on the market or even just a loop on your walking trousers or your map pocket zipper.
In short these Beads are both indestructible and silent and are a Must have for any Serving Military personal or Walker
