Report to the Hokage's delivered with several tapes
Uchiha Itachi. He was spotted on your sensors half a mile away from the forest of death. He was moving at a fast enough clip that even though the alarms sounded, we didn't have a visual on him until he reached the fence. Alarm was sounded and orders to secure everything were immediately given. At the same time, the Bicolored plant like assumed grass missing nin was spotted entering the city from the south as did Deidara. They immediately moved to their objectives and were intercepted. This is when the damage to ANBU and the Hospital happened. Except for the speed, these portions were dealt with per plan. Please se report of security monitors with time stamps and image captures of these events.
The unforeseen part of this involves another several Akatsuki.
Hidan snuck into the village somehow., The first record I have on camera was ten minutes before the attack. This was from security film at a store, not one of our cameras. We are investigating how this was managed. He killed two representatives from Mist exactly as the alarms went off and securing the village started. After confirming those deaths, he continued to kill others - they are believed to be targets of opportunity with only the initial Mist nin as the true targets.
Another Takatsuki we have little info on came in from the west, please see attached camera records, and immediately went to the hokage residence where he appeared to be looking for something and destroying the place. You will have to ask Jiraiya for more info, we had little surveillance of that area.
The last was expected, the PERSON was not expected. This is images of a not before seen member of Akatsuki, a second female. All out records were there was only one female member. She seems to have either been after the Naruto living with Sasuke or after Hitsuki. We are not sure. Please see attached list of time stamps and images of where she was spotted.
ALL Akatsuki members fled once the rain stopped. It is unknown if the strange chakra was them or not.
This shows how we need to expand out security network and expand patrols farther away from Konoha. It was not that we had holes, so much as their speed and power was just too much.
