(no subject)
Birthday! So, I know it isn't in my bio info, because I have some weird fear that leaving it there will somehow make people able to ID me in RL, but tomorrow is, in fact, my birthday! This fact is pleasing to me. I have a day full of sleeping in, reading and writing, and good food planned. If you feel a deep and abiding urge to write me something, I love h/c, fluff, fingering, frottage, and banter. Or, you know, you could just leave me manips of Bradley and Colin making out. That would be fine too.
Family! Due to the aforementioned birthday, I spent last weekend with my family. I hear other people's family issues and basically feel like I won the lottery, family-wise. I enjoy spending time with most everyone in my extended family. Which made me kinda sadface when I missed one of my aunts (she lives next door! I was there 3 days!). Also, my mom was crazy busy and my birthday gift ended up being stressful. Speaking of which...
Bikes! OK, so this summer I've basically become a bicycle commuter. Partially from lack of car and financial reasons, partially because I think it's badass. Unfortunately, fenders are ridiculous to install, moreso when the correct bolts, washers, and nuts were not in the package with the fenders. Cue 5 trips to the bike shop and hardware store and something like two hours, not including trips to the store, spent trying to get the things installed. We succeeded in the end!
Writing! I have popped past my next goal for my BEF and it is now outlined all the way to the end. Current wordcount: 35,129. Thank you, word-war. Genius idea. I have come to grips with the fact that there is no way it will be done prior to S4. Hopefully my headcanon is strong enough the resist influence!
