This gets blamed entirely one Bobby Barnes (
badbobbybarnes)  saying that his significant other made a list of why he keeps him around.

Reasons I keep my Bobby around:
-I love him.
-He loves me.
-The way he smells.
-He makes me laugh.
-He holds me when I cry.
-His scruff beard.
-His intelligence.
-His cunning.
-How he looks in a suit.
-He actually wants a working relationship.
-He keeps the bed wonderfully warm.
-He's wonderful with Brennan.
-He's amazing with all the kids. Even if he'll argue the point.
-M&M pancakes.
-How he plays with my hair.
-He makes me think.
-Crawling into his lap feels like going home.
-Bear hugs.
-The tattoo would be pointless without him.
-He likes my armory.
-I'm  a better mother with him around.
-The triplets.
-He's willing to apologize.
-Having him makes me willing to apologize.
-When he holds me and rests his hin on my head.

-He's a predator. I've come to accept I need that.
-The sex.
-The sadism (and the masochism he hates to admit to.)
-Cuddling.
-Nuzzling.
-Gives me a reason for all the leather I've collected over the years.
