DANG IT!!! (Part 3) and a recently added (PART 4!

Apr 19, 2009 13:44

My instinct was right. There WILL be a part 3 of my endless and very emotionally draining battle with technology...

Let's have a quick recap:
DANG IT! (Part 1): Drained all the songs in my iPod
DANG IT!! (Part 2): Wrecked my laptop's hard drive

and now...

...back to the iPod...

i just reloaded it with a few songs, well, mainly Arashi and a single set of english...not songs, but just narration audio (Barney Stinson's The Bro Code...listen to it, very entertaining!)...uhm, so basically, just Japanese songs...

...and then...

well, I am most familiar with the songs of Arashi from their more recently albums, being oldest, probably, from i think ONE...

*wow! latest update about the state of my ipod HINT: there would be a PART 4 of these series so....anyhoo, will report it later....*

...so back to the recently loaded ipod...

so there. I realized that I'm not quite familiar with the earlier songs of arashi so i tried to loaded them as well. There were about 85 songs so just when I dragged it to my itunes, it kinda lagged (the loading)...i thought: oh well, there just too many songs so i'll just have to wait until it uploaded everything...

it took a while...until the itunes became "Not responding"

dang it.

and so i closed the nonresponsive itunes, disconnected the ipod from my computer and connected it once more. Now. my laptop wouldn't recognize it. And the itunes wouldn't open whenever the ipod is connected . Restarted it. Still the same. Shut down, ipod was again recognized. So i edited the songs, deleted the newly added and reloaded it, these time at least an album at a time. Thought everything was going well but it took me about 4 hours to finish one album. What a wait, just to realize that the ipod wouldn't play any song. It would stay at 0:00 and wouldn't play.

So i guess i again wrecked it, huh..

and then...for the next misfortune, please refer to the Part 4...*sigh* .

And so, i thought, i just have to live the next few days without music (until i consulted the problem with my brother, the one who has magical hands...a complete opposite of mine...)

then i thought, why not restart it? i did. now i AGAIN lost all my songs.

but this may be a good thing, would have to start from scratch (again) but at least i know i have more chances now of making it play as compared to the nonresponsive, not playing ipod i had minutes ago.......

With my destructive hands of mine, which technological gadget will stand the test of time?! まずい なあ、これ。。。

ipod, mp3, arashi
