extravaganza
yesterday, i played at the water park and rode rollercoasters with my sisters, justin (criselda's fiance), and my cousin remy (he flew in from california!). it's the lad's birthday on tuesday. anyway, woooo rollercoasters. i hadn't been to great america in a very, very long time. we gorged ourselves on funnel cake (and a funnel cake sundae), seasoned waffle-cut cheese fries, sno-cones and all that gluttonous stuff sold adjacent to the many-almost-naked-bodied water park. everything was overpriced like the dickens, and i really felt american*.
today, i am going to lollapalooza to see... feist! sonic youth! flaming lips! thievery corporation! built to spill! maybe the smoking popes! and. manu chao. ummhm girlfriend, go sip on somma dat hate-orade cos i know you be jealous. by that i mean im glad i bought the ticket while i was still young and foolish (read: not so financially limited by Good Reason and Prudency). i will meet up with veronica at good ol ogilvie and with neil and jane later on.
