Domino is playing with a twisty tie, she's such a cutie. I bought a new food for my cats, Innova Evo, it has no grains, mostly meat, really good for cats. During the night, Nirvana ate a hole through it. I'm glad she likes her new food.
So I had quit traffic.com to work for the Fund, going door-to-door raising money for the enviroment and your own paycheck. That's what bothered me, I made a certain percentage of the money that I got from people, it was like going to their door and being like "Please give me money for the enviroment so I can take half of it for myself." Plus it was cold. too fucking cold. and you had to be knocking on doors til 9 pm, lots of parents were putting their kids to bed, they were nice but that made me feel even worse, I don't like bothering people. and to make base pay, you have to raise $120 per day or $600 a week and that's to get $300 a week in your paycheck. That's working from 1 pm-almost 11 pm sometimes, that's like $6 an hour. That fucking sucks. I only did it one day.
so tomorrow and Wed I'm working at traffic.com, I guess Butch heard through the grapevine about me quitting my new job, haha, but its cool. He called my house line since I didn't pick up my cell phone cause I was sleeping and the aide for the tard answered, and I thought she was waking me up for something stupid at first, I was gonna slice her throat, but I didn't.
I applied to a couple of vet offices to be a receptionist, they haven't gotten back to me. Yesterday I went to the Hunterdon SPCA, filled out an application. They were really nice and one woman gave me a tour. Only problem is its an hour away, but so is traffic.com and I drove there for four-hour shifts. This would be m-f 8:30-4:30, with one weekend day a month to work. Sounds pretty sweet to me, but I wouldn't be able to come to Tabby's Place on Thursdays anymore...
My friend Chrissy is a vet tech at a hospital in red bank so she's going to talk to her bosses and see if I could come in for a day and check it out. Hopefully this Friday and I can also see if they're hiring for an Animal Attendent. YAY Red bank is way closer than Hunterdon.
