Two things, one being pinpad safety.
Do not use your card where the pinpad is in plain view and/or could have been left unattended: I cannot stress this enough. It takes less than a minute to swap out a pinpad and it can copy hundreds of cards before its discovered to have been tampered with. Card copying is absolutely rampant right now, be careful.
Make sure you can see your card through the entire transaction: If they're swiping it for you, make sure you can see it. I make sure every one of my customers can see their card while it's in my hand, even though our pinpad is kept in a drawer behind the cash.
Always cover your PIN when you key it in: Mirrors around the store could be your undoing, so try your best to keep your PIN a secret. Cover it with your hand, and make sure there's no one too close behind you. Chip cards are too new to be supported everywhere, so for now it's best to be extra careful.
Alright, that's out of the way. I tried on my wedding gown again today and it still fits, is gorgeous, and I've decided if I can find black pearl jewelery I'll buy some to go with it. I don't have a lot of hair now so I'm not sure exactly what to do with it, but I'll figure it out.
I don't know when the wedding will be, either, I'm just planning ahead. :3
