I really need to start writing again. Someone posted a 30-Day Poetry Challenge meme and I'm picking and choosing that from (a number of the prompts are silly things involving Facebook statuses and texting). Anyway, the first was an acrostic using your name but that wasn't about you.
Musty pages, stained paper,
Every treasured word
Ringing to itself in cardboard bindings.
Experience tells you the it will crumble.
Disintegrating on lonely shelves
Inside all the abandoned places.
Trustingly waiting for one last reader to
Hold each word, each thought, alive, one last time.
