Totally. And I'm fairly certain they could be made pretty easily (or more easily than in those instructions, at least).

I wonder how they'd actually be to walk on, though...

I can't imagine that pair are crazy stable, given that they deconstructed the whole shoe. I would just cu/drillt a hole in the dinosaur (or cut it in half and glue it) and then slip it over the heel, which I don't think would make it them more difficult to walk in.
