16th Jul - fairly bad tonsils and mild cough
Doc gave me augmentin and cough mixture
came back fr TPE (22-28 Jul) but cough was progressively worst
2nd Aug - MC due to cough & Sore throat
Doc refused to give me a course of antibiotics preferring to adopt a "wait n see" attitude! WTF
She gave me some steriods to reduce my throat inflammation and a cough mixture to make me cough some more....WTF...cough out the phelgm, she says! I didnt take it at all, as it is, i was alr coughing till my chest hurts, till my head hurts.....
6th Aug - 2 days MC
Doc said I was starting to have fever. and obviously some form of infection. Yellowish green phlegm, runny nose.
Finally, he gave me some antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicine, cough mixture (to stop the cough), zyrtec for runny nose, Pacofen for the fever
CCB, if the doc had such foresight on 2nd Aug, i wldnt hv had to endure such shit....was already coughing like a hyena
and i cant zzz...each time i doze off, i wake up in coughing fits..wtf
why r doctors here in india so scared of prescribing antibiotics?? Why o WHY
and so, Mabel has to bear the crux.......suffer for the fear....fear of a super bacteria mutating?
