... How Annoying!

So today was the official "I'm a week overdue" day. Therefore *pauses for contraction* .. so yea we had to go to the hospital for an "assessment". Which consisted of being hooked up to the monitory machine for what seemed like forever... probably because you're just laying there which straps etc on your tummy watching the baby heart beat number rise and fall, and the contraction monitor number rise and fall. Then the funny little sheet is printing out too. So anyways, I was actually having contractions while hooked up to the machine, it was kinda cool cuz I could feel them, and watch the number rise as they continued. Anyways, I was having regular contractions that went up to about 40, and felt stronger than any i'd had before. The nurse came in and took the straps off me, took my blood pressure, told me to come back on tuesday, took the print out and left the room. * we found this odd since i was having contractions. Then as chris was aiding me in the coat putting on she came back in because she had looked at the sheet and realized i was contracting. So she examined me, but I hadn't gone any furthur. So she told us we could either go home, or go walk around/have lunch and see if they kept going or got worse. So we went and got lunch at the snack shack down the street (which was delicious for the record) walked back and since i was still having contractions and they seemed stronger we went back in. So they hooked me up again and i laid there and nothing was happening ( driving us both batty of course ) then i had a huge contraction which was over twice as big as the ones earlier on ( closer to 100 on the intensity meter )/. So we figured that i was in labour finally (YEA!).. except than I laid there for a long time and they stopped completely. So the nurse was like.. oo that was a big one. Then she was like.. well you might as well go home now and come back on tuesday. (BOO!) SO now i'm GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY and frustrated X a million. Been having little ones off and on but nothing so regular and strong. STUBBORN CHILD!!!!!

Also today Beckies mommy came and visited us this afternoon, which was very nice. I just feel like the apartment was yucky cuz we hadn't done the dishes yet, and for some reason this bothers me... Anyways Supper Time! TTYL
