Teehee, read in
Bronteana (in a very amusing post) that there is a company selling
action figures of well-known historical people. Of the ones I've looked at, I particularly like
Jane Austen (because she would be a kickarse yet poised and elegant superheroine) and
Marie-Antoinette (her's is simply audacious!).
I saw Breakfast at Tiffany's on Saturday night at the Moonlight Cinema, which was truly wonderful. Although it did spoil the mood when a bat flew across the projected light and made a silhouette on the screen. And then my friend Jo was confronted by a possum, which then licked Kate's leg and made us all go into giggles at an inappropriate moment. But the movie was good, and I didn't cry this time because of the cat's plight, as I knew it was coming and distracted myself. But Kate cried. Poor old Cat, slob without a name. But now we have a good phrase to say when referring to loser ex-boyfriends: "quel rat".
