It was very deep so it was a fright but the depth prevented any major damage. It was certainly a community experience for sure.

I saw the video of parliament - one guy continued to speechify through the fremors, then the Speaker said she thought it would be a good civil defense move to close the session.

Yeah, I saw that. It wasn't so big in some senses, but very persistent which is always a worry.
