I need to say thank you to Elmyraemilie, who looked over this at the rough draft, 14,000 words stage and pointed out an obvious plot point that I'd missed. This meant that I had to rework my final section and ended up being only 60% done rather the 70% I'd hoped when I handed in the draft. But since she was right, I'll be magnanimous and forgive her.
