Forwaring addresses for real mail?

An appeal to your collective wisdow:

I'm looking for the equivalent of forwarder email addresses for real mail.

With email, you can set up you@yourdomain.com and forward it to whatever mailbox you feel like checking--the one with your ISP, a GMail account, whatever. You can move around, and your address can stay the same.

With real mail, this does not seem to be the case. You can get a PO Box, but it does not follow you--it is tied to a physical post office, and yu have to pick up your mail there. If you move across town this is a pain. You can file a change of address, and then your mail will follow you--but only for a year, and you cannot keep giving out the same address. There's a forwarding service targeted at people who have multiple residences, but it's for residential mail only. As far as I can tell, businesses like Mailboxes Etc are no help.

I'm looking to make this work for a small non profit with an unstable office location. Keeping the published address the same is imortant; fetching mail from a PO Box is not working well. Any suggestions? Thx.
