I'm the Girl with 5 colours in her hair!

Aug 11, 2007 00:45

My hair has been cut and coloured. Twice. Well, coloured once, but cut twice. The girl who cut my hair is fresh out of hairdressing school (or whatever) and only knows one cut. A bob. I didn't want a bob. I got a bob. Not even a good bob. I got a long, limp, boring bob. I looked like a 40 year old woman. Which would've been bad enough, but it was coupled with a 5 year old boy's fringe. And I paid £60 for the priviledge. Okay, so that included colour, but still. It was a lot of money for something that I hated. I was so upset I cried. Now, I should put this into perspective. I don't cry very much. I tend to cry at things like sad films or happy/proud times, but never before have I cried about a haircut. In fact, I think that crying at a haircut was the height of shallowness and pathetic really, as it was only hair. I would like to apologise to all those who I have previously scorned, because last night I cried over my 40 year old, frumpy, frigid, ugly mother hair cut. With the 5 year old boy's fringe. Luckily when I went back in this morning and complained (in a very polite way may I add) they offered to re-do it free of charge. And I really like it now. It's quite short at the back and then graduates down to the front of my face and is very choppy and layered. Which is nice. And the colours are amazing.

I have green, blue, purple, pink, brown (that was there already) and blonde. It's all layered over the top of each other and blends really nicely. I have so little brown as well, which is cool. I kinda wanted mostly green and blue, but she's done a really good job with the many colours so I'm not gonna complain! I love multicoloured hair!!!

Righto, well, this will most likely be the last update for a while as I am offski-ing to the far reaches of the Uk in the next two weeks. I'm seeing the grandparents (both sets) and Faith (who lived with me for 18 months and I haven't seen for 2 years) and Rachel (squee!) and Slagathor (I'll explain another time) and Alex and Ellen (the Reading crew!). Phew, its gonna be a fun coupla weeks! The rents are going camping (fuck that for a game of soldiers) so I'm doing a tour-de-fam. I just hope they don't get me up too early! I'm mostly looking forward to NOT BEING AT WORK! YAYAYYAYAYAYAYNESS!

Okay, I've really got to sleep now as I am muchos tired-os. Nighto! TTYS xxxxx

PS. OMFG! There is what appears to be a T-Rex flying around my room. Common sense tells me that it is a mosquito type bug. Instincts tell me it is a large, fierce predator. OMG it just flew past my head. Makes a noise like a hungry chainsaw. If it flew into my head it could probably knock me out, that is how big it is. I'm gonna have to open my door so that it can get out. AARRGGGHHH!
